A British actor, who played the role of vicar Bob Jerome in soap Emmerdale (1979-1981). Richard Howard was better known for his theatre work, but still notched up more than 30 onscreen credits, including roles in Crown Court (1974), Paradise Postponed (1986), Poirot (1989), Playing the Field (1998) and the 1999 mini-series adaptations of Oliver Twist and David Copperfield.
