A British film critic who was best known to television audiences as the captivating host of the BBC’s flagship film programme, Norman was the presenter on Film 72 through to Film 98. He wrote for a multitude of national newspapers and publications such as the Radio Times throughout his illustrious career, and received the Richard Dimbleby Award from BAFTA in 1981.
